Why disinfect livestock food factories ?

In animal food factories, disinfection is performed to reduce the risk of contamination with pathogenic germs (notably Salmonella).

Risk areas should be defined to apply recurrent cleaning and disinfection procedures. Risk areas include raw materials receiving and storage areas, mixers, granulators, cooling units, elevators, finished product warehouses and transport trucks.

In dry processes, the use of specific disinfectants is recommended: FUMAGRI OPP ; FUMAGRI HA ; LCB 305SR ; ISOBIO 160SR.
